It's easy to bring all your prospective volunteers up to speed with Document Manager!
As a VolunteerMatch Member, you can automatically share up to three documents with prospective volunteers as soon as they express interest in one of your opportunities. Make sure they have instant access to useful information and important documents, such as application forms, volunteer handbooks, detailed position descriptions and more! Use the same combination of documents or customize them based on each opportunities’ needs.

How to upload a new document:
Follow the steps below to upload a new document to your organization's dashboard:
- Log into VolunteerMatch.org to access your organization's dashboard
- Select Document Manager under Manage Opportunities in the left-hand navigation menu
- Click Upload a Document
- A box will pop up; enter a title for the document you're adding and select the file from your computer
- Click Upload
You can store up to 20 different documents in Document Manager. Documents must be .doc, .xls, .pdf or .txt files and can't exceed 1.5 MB in size.
How to associate documents with an opportunity:
Once you've uploaded your documents, you'll need to attach them to your opportunities:
- Locate the opportunity* you want to associate with a document in the table and click Update Associations
*Please note, only Active and Draft opportunities will appear here - Select up to three documents from the drop-down menu
- Click Update to save your changes
How to manage your documents:
To delete or download and view one of your stored documents, follow these steps:
- Click Manage Documents
- Select the document you'd like to delete or download from the drop-down menu
- Click either the Delete or Download button
- If you selected Delete, you'll be asked to confirm your action — deleting a document will also remove it from any associated opportunities
- If you selected Download, your download should begin immediately
Unfortunately, you can't edit your documents in Document Manager. If you need to make any changes, please edit the copy on your computer and then re-upload it to your account.
