Searching for volunteer opportunities by date

Only have time to volunteer in July? No problem — you can organize your search results to narrow them down to a specific date or date range.

1. Visit VolunteerMatch.org 
2. Enter your location or the location where you wish to volunteer (it's best to enter a ZIP code)
3. Select Find Opportunities or choose a Cause Area to start your search

Opportunities posted most recently and within a 20-mile radius of your location will appear. 

If you're looking for an opportunity on a specific date, you'll like want to change the way results are sorted from Near Me & New to Event Date. This will show you any upcoming opportunities first. 

If there's a specific date associated with the opportunity, it will appear in the bottom right corner of its listing.
 

Scroll through the search results for an opportunity that matches your interests. Select the opportunity title or Learn More for additional details.

If it seems like a good fit, click the I want to help! button. We'll send your contact information to the organization, and their volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you about volunteering!
