Want to keep track of the status of volunteers that have connected to your volunteer opportunities? Here’s how:
- Log into your account
- From the organization dashboard, select 'View All Connections'
- Check the box or boxes to the left of the Connections you want to update
- Use the ‘Change Status’ dropdown and select ‘New Connection’, ‘Waiting for Response’, ‘Resulted in Volunteering’, or ‘Didn’t Work Out’
Now you can easily see the outcomes of your Connections.
Note, if you select ‘Didn’t Work Out’ you’ll be taken to a page to provide some additional details. Connections that are marked ‘Didn’t Work Out’ will be notified via email that you have closed their application. You’ll be prompted to include a note with that email if you wish.
You can also update the status of connections to a single opportunity. Here’s how:
- Log into your account
- From the organization dashboard, select the Pencil Icon under ‘Edit’ for the opportunity you want to update
- Check the box or boxes to the left of the Connections you want to update
- Use the ‘Change Status’ dropdown and select ‘New Connection, ‘Waiting for Response’, ‘Resulted in Volunteering’, or ‘Didn’t Work Out’
Note, if you select ‘Didn’t Work Out’ you’ll be taken to a page to provide some additional details. Connections that are marked ‘Didn’t Work Out’ will be notified via email that you have closed their application. You’ll be prompted to include a note with that email if you wish.
